Its About the Memes
SGK IDL wanted help on finding a brand voice for the event. Using illustrations from classic memes, we set out on finding the humor in each meme and exploiting it. The animated gifs of the memes teased the event all the way up until the day of.

Art directed the event graphics, concepted and designed assets including social media campaign, window designs and all interior branding of the event space.
The team producing the event had 5 illustrations and no campaign look. I decided to animate the illustrations for social.
The window designs to tease out the event locally. IDL wanted, at the end of the day, a fun light-hearted party with a DJ and grammable moments.
